What we stand for...

We created Footloose Cafe to provide a safe and welcoming space for people to explore topics such as psychology, mental health, creativity, and mindfulness.

We recognise that there is no one-size-fits-all when it comes to self-discovery and personal growth, but we believe that everyone should have access to resources and support that can help them manage their mental health and work through their emotional and mental challenges so that they can live their lives to the fullest.

“Every person’s journey is unique, and we strive to provide a diverse range of resources that anyone can relate to and seek guidance from.”

Mental health challenges can often feel isolating and lonely, which is why we hope to creat a space where people can come together, share their stories, support one another, and grow stronger together.

We believe that by fostering a sense of community and connection, we can help break down the stigma that surrounds mental health and create a more supportive and inclusive world for everyone.

Overall, Footloose Cafe stands for inclusivity, compassion, and the belief that everyone deserves access to the resources and support they need to take care of their mental health. We hope that our blog can be a valuable resource for anyone looking to explore mental health topics and find support on their own mental health journey.

Who we are...

Footloose Cafe consists of a small team of people that work together to ensure we provide accurate, useful, and unique information. Ella Pearson, the founder of Footloose Cafe, is the main writer for the blog.

Ella writes articles based on personal experience and backs up her claims with research wherever possible. She is not a professional in the field of mental health, but she strives to create accessible, helpful, and inspiring articles by sharing her personal experiences and struggles with her own mental health.

She started her journey as a writer covering topics ranging from psychology to self-improvement in 2020 and has since reached over 300,000 people through her articles over on Medium.com. In 2023, she decided it was time to claim her own little corner of the internet, which is when she founded Footloose Cafe.
